Newton has been home to me for 31
years. As a resident of 3 different wards (1,5,7), I have
experienced the rich diversity of the people and history of
Newton’s many villages.
A product of the Newton schools, I attended
Countryside Elementary, Meadowbrook Junior High, and graduated
from Newton South High School with the Class of 1980. As a
Francis Ouimet Scholar, I attended the University Of Massachusetts
at Amherst, graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor Of Fine Arts degree
in Communication Studies. I am married with 2 children in the
