My
Motivation
My brother-in-law Brian
was diagnosed with cancer in the spring of 2001.
That
summer while driving
home from a family vacation on the tip of Cape Cod I
saw crowds of people of all shapes, sizes and ages
pedaling their hearts out to raise money for cancer
research as cyclists for the two-day, 192-mile
Pan-Massachusetts Challenge
(PMC).
I vowed to ride
the next year and now I'm entering my 8th PMC on the
30th anniversary of this great event.
Last
year was extra special because a good friend of mine
was diagnosed with breast cancer in March (2008) and
is recovering as I update this web site.
Thankfully, today Brian is a two-time cancer
survivor, and on August 1st & 2nd, I'll be riding
192 miles from Sturbridge to Provincetown.
I need to raise $4200, and if you could donate
$25.00 (or more) it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
